Bradley 2 Under At Nationwide Event

Keegan Bradley, playing in his second Nationwide Tour event of the season, is currently sitting at 2 under par after his first two rounds at the Miccosukee Championship in Miami.

Shooting 65, 68, 68, 68, Bradley finished with an 18 under par 270 to win by 5 strokes and take home $33,566. This is his first career Hooters Tour win, but we bet it won’t be his last.

Knox Places 3rd At Hooters Texas Honing Open

Russell Knox had a fantastic 3rd place finish in this weekend’s Texas Honing Open on the Hooters Tour.  Knox shot 70, 69, 69, 68 to finish 12 under par and take sole possession of 3rd place earning him $11,013.00! And if that’s not good enough, Russell(Pro) and teammate Ken Hancock(Am) took home first place in the Texas Honing Open Pro-Am Shootout earlier in the week!

This has been a great week for Russell and we’re proud to have him as part of the Basic Golf team. Congratulations Russell!

Big Break’s Scott Yancy III Joins Basic Golf

Over the years, there have been a lot of great players using mini tours (like the Minor Scott Yancy IIILeague Golf Tour) to help their careers. Scott Yancy III is a great example of a player using these mini tours to their advantage.

You might remember Scott from the Golf Channel’s Big Break II Las Vegas. He plays in MLGT events to keep his game sharp and help him with bigger events like qualifying for the Illinois Open this July. Scott recently signed on with Basic Golf to help promote our line of moisture wicking golf shirts.

Minor League Golf Tour Launches Basic Golf Training Division

Basic Golf has teamed up with the Minor League Golf Tour as the title sponsor of the Basic Golf Training Division.Basic Golf Training Division

Starting in June, the Minor League Golf Tour will offer a Training Division  targeted at players that are in the early stages of learning to play competitive golf.

Sponsored by cutting edge apparel designer Basic Golf, the Basic Golf Training Division is a great place for professionals, amateurs, seniors and women to gain competitive experience under the same conditions as a professional event, but without the added expenditure of contributing to the payout. In harmony with the high quality/low cost philosophy of Basic Golf, the Training Division entry fee is half of the professional event fee, with the winner receiving a $25 Basic Golf gift certificate.

Professionals competing in the Basic Golf Training Division will play from the same tees as the professionals playing in the simultaneously run Minor League Tour Event, while the amateurs, seniors and women will have a choice of tees to play from.

Hooter’s Tour Winner Keegan Bradley Signs With Basic Golf

Chicago - Hooter’s Tour player and winner Keegan Bradley, represented by Drive Sports and Entertainment, Inc., has signed a sponsorship deal with cutting edge apparel designer Basic Golf, LLC.

Bradley, a 9-time NCAA Collegiate Tournament Champion and May 2008 graduate of St Johns University was second on the overall money list for the 2008 Hooters Tour Bridgestone Winter Series. Basic Golf will be outfitting Keegan with apparel for all of his professional events including the 2009 Hooters Pro Series.

Russell Knox Places 2nd In Hooters Tour Event
