In the past, if you wanted to take advantage of moisture wicking fabrics and cutting edge styles, you had to pay $60, $70… even $80 and up. The other option was to pay a lot less but get an inferior material and uninteresting colors you didn’t really care to wear. Not anymore! About The Minor League Golf Tour

The goal of the Minor League Golf Tour is to provide an affordable training ground for aspiring players to hone their game. The economics of professional golf are harsh. Almost every player without major tour status will need to be subsidized to continue chasing the dream.

The high cost mini tours need many big money donators to raise the cash for their lottery like 1st place checks. The top players that have devoted years to professional golf and are playing near 100% of their potential play the high cost tours. These “top mini tour players” are capable of competing at the Nationwide and PGA Tour levels.

The competition on the Minor League Golf Tour is strong. 30 player who have competed on our tour qualified for the second stage of the 2007 PGA Tour Qualifying School (21 made it to the second stage in 2006). Two players who won on the MLGT in 2006 are now 2008 PGA Tour rookies and seven players 2008 Nationwide Tour status.
