Shooting 65, 68, 68, 68, Bradley finished with an 18 under par 270 to win by 5 strokes and take home $33,566. This is his first career Hooters Tour win, but we bet it won’t be his last.

Russell Knox had a fantastic 3rd place finish in this weekend’s Texas Honing Open on the Hooters Tour. Knox shot 70, 69, 69, 68 to finish 12 under par and take sole possession of 3rd place earning him $11,013.00! And if that’s not good enough, Russell(Pro) and teammate Ken Hancock(Am) took home first place in the Texas Honing Open Pro-Am Shootout earlier in the week!

Chicago - Hooter’s Tour player and winner Keegan Bradley, represented by Drive Sports and Entertainment, Inc., has signed a sponsorship deal with cutting edge apparel designer Basic Golf, LLC.
Bradley, a 9-time NCAA Collegiate Tournament Champion and May 2008 graduate of St Johns University was second on the overall money list for the 2008 Hooters Tour Bridgestone Winter Series. Basic Golf would like to congratulate staff player Russell Knox for finishing tied for second this week at the Hooters Tour event at the Timacuan Golf Club in Lake Mary, FL. Knox shot a 71, 67, 67 for an 11 under par 205 in the three day event. For more info, click here.
We’re really excited to have Russell Knox on board with Basic Golf. He’s had an exciting career so far and is currently playing on the Hooters Tour. Here is some background on Russell and some of his achievements:
- Spent his first 18 years in Scotland before coming to the US to attend Jacksonville University on a 4yr scholarship.
In College:
- Won the 2004 GEICO Direct Invitational
- 2nd Place (after playoff) at the 2006 Atlantic Sun Conference Championship (tied the scoring record at 13 under par)
- 2006 Honorable Mention All American
As a Professional:
- Won the 2007 Pre Qualifier for PGA Q-School at Cypresswood Texas - 66, 65, 66, 70 (21 under)
- 2 top 3 and 4 top 10 finishes (in the money) in 2008 on the Hooters Tour in 10 out of 12 events.
- Will be attending the PGA Qualifying School in October.
