Congratulations to Mike Goodes for winning the 2009 Allianz Championship! His caddie Mike Bracken wears golf shirts from Basic Golf and we’re proud to have them on board!

    Congrats to Mike on his first Champions tour win. I was a marshall at the Principal Charity Classic (previously the Allianz Championship) in West Des Moines, IA last year and remember Mike introducing himself to me prior to teeing it up on #16 at Glen Oaks Country Club. A simple “Hi, I’m Mike Goodes”, was all he said, but it impressed upon me that he wanted to get his name out as one of the “new guys” on tour. I’m glad to know that many, many others now know the name. Best wishes for continued success and I hope to see you in West Des Moines again this year.
